About the Pediatric Service Unit at Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic
At Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic, we recognize the special nature of the child’s growing skeleton. The Pediatric Service at ROC is set up to evaluate and treat all patients from birth through college age with musculoskeletal problems involving any limb or any part of the trunk and spine. We have experience and expertise in every aspect of pediatric musculoskeletal care from foot and hip deformities to fractures and sports injuries. We also specialize in treatment of spinal curvature and back pain in children as well as neuromuscular disruption. On-site orthotics as well as pediatric sized medical devices are available to facilitate the medical care.
Our unit is modeled for active communication between parents and providers. We strive to maintain continuously updated dialogue with the pediatric offices so that every aspect of the child’s care can be anticipated and covered. We work closely with other pediatric specialists in the area including child neurology and pediatric surgery, as well as specialized pediatric rehabilitation.
